I want to take a moment to express my heartache for what happened at the midnight showing of Dark Knight Rises in an Aurora, Colorado theater. For those of you who haven't heard, you can read more here. No words can truly show how deeply I feel for the victims and their families. It's sad that this had to happen. I will say I am impressed with the response time of the local police, and SWAT teams, and I am grateful for the men and women who sacrifice every day to keep us all a little more safe. Again, take a moment to remember those who died at this shooting, the injured recovering, and their families. For those of you in Aurora reading this, please know that we feel for you, and you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Mike has summed up my feelings and emotions of this tragic event very well, and I have little to add. It is tragedies and incidents like this that make us all remember how precious human life is, and how easily it can be lost. I only hope that all of those out there who are suffering from this needless incident, and others like it, find what peace they can.
