Holy Moses. That was insane. We had over 300 people in attendance at this particular midnight launch (It would have been more if it wasn't so cold!), and we hosted a 64 person tournament. We got to play
Black Ops II early, for our tournament, and I must say it was a blast! We'd like to thank The Gamerz Funk for bringing out their awesome equipment for the tournament, and to everyone that participated.
We'd also like to thank Gamestop for providing some epic prizes for the tournament winner, and hosting an amazing midnight launch. And last but not least, we'd like to thank Dan Young of PC Laptops for flying in Rich McDonald (the voice actor of Commander David Mason in
Black Ops II) to grace us with his presence! He was kind enough to brave us fans from 9:00 PM to 12:01 AM. He also signed combat swag, people's leather jackets, hats, posters, and probably a lot more than I am aware of. Little Cesar's Pizza was there handing out free pizza, PC Laptops had some computers and laptops hooked up for people to play while they waited, 101.9 The End was present blasting some tunes for us, and Big Buddha from Fox Thirteen News was there to document it all. I'd say it was a huge success! Next time you might want to think about pre-ordering all of your big games at the Gamestop in Jordan Landing because we'll always be there hosting incredible midnight launches. And now, here is the evidence of it's craziness!!!
