Our Sincerest Apologies, and a Look Towards The Future

I would like to begin by saying how truly sorry I am for the lack of upkeep on the site. Both Ryan and I have been through a lot of personal issues the past few months, and they have taken priority. With my wife having been diagnosed with cancer, and Ryan's father being very ill, we made a decision that we would put the site on hold until we got better hold of our individual situations. This has no effect on the future of Gaming Cuisine, however. We are holding our heads up high, and looking where the future is brightest.

By August 1, 2013 (GC's 2 year anniversary) you will all see an almost complete transformation of the site.
It hasn't been decided if we'll be going to a URL format, or if we'll stay on Blogger, but we have big plans to change the site to be geared towards Gaming Cuisine Competitive League (GCCL). We are still very passionate gamers, and you will still see our personal write ups of the video game community, thoughts on the next generation of gaming, and video games in general, but we can't keep up with continually updating you with the latest and greatest and run the GCCL at the same time. We also understand that many of you will be coming to visit the site for video game reviews, and several other video game related material. So to keep you coming to our site, and to also expand your gaming needs, we are proud to announce that we are teaming up with Game Insider Magazine. Once our site is updated, we will have a feed directly from their site so that you can read about GCCL, and get your gaming news and updates.

As I stated before, Ryan and I will continue to write opinion pieces, and other articles in regards to video games, so please come back for more of that.

Here is what you can expect us to be including in our new GCCL site in a few weeks, and beyond:

- Player Profiles, Bio's, and individual stats
- Stats from our tournaments as a whole
- Leader Board's
- Capability of watching live stream footage of our tournaments
- Interviews with our competitor's
- Articles from Ryan and Mike in regards to our tournaments, and eSports in general.
- Easy to read tournament schedule
- GCCL Lounge (Forum)

Many of these will be available on August 1, 2013, but a few of these features may take a little longer due to coordination, and availability of our competitor's. So please stick around, because it's about to get incredible. You will still have access to our archives if you'd like to reference back to an older article. We aren't killing Gaming Cuisine, we are just modifying and upgrading! Do you have any recommendations, questions, or comments? Shoot us an e-mail at gamingcuisine@gmail.com, or leave a comment below. Also don't forget to Like us on Facebook, and follow us on Twitter (@GamingCuisine).

We can't thank our steady followers enough for the support you have given us, and are grateful for any newcomers who want to join us in our strive to create an incredible competitive league. Check back soon for updates. The site will be fully updated on August 1, 2013, but we will be tweaking it between now and then.

Until next time, keep on gamin' on!
