Homestuck, Earthworm Jim, and Free or Cheap Continues!

The only comic with Lovecraftian knitting needles that I know of.
Think of it as reading Proust; if Proust had focused on 13 year old interdimensional-time-travelling adventurers instead of a bunch of people you don't care about.

Hey all, due to circumstances the Free or Cheap article will be posted tomorrow. Until then here are a few small tidbits of gaming news:

The Homestuck Adventure Game (title will probably change) was amazingly successful and brought in over $2.4 million dollars! For those familiar with Homestuck this is excellent news, for those that aren't familiar, you can read this explanation by the creator, or even better, just read Homestuck. Additionally, if you wanted to get some of the sweet Kickstarter exclusive swag, but missed the campaign, Andrew Hussie, the creator, is allowing donations through Paypal via the What Pumpkin Store for a limited time.

Earthworm Jim: The classic tale of an irradiated earthworm turned superhero, fighting evil Space Crows. A Shakespearean tale to say the least.

In other Kickstarter news, Earthworm Jim creator Doug TenNapel is funding a project for a hardcopy book of sketches and drawings from his career. This sketchbook "document(s) the birth" of many amazing video game, TV and comic book characters, including art that spawned the fantastic Earthworm Jim, Skullmonkeys, and The Neverhood video games! If you're a fan of any of those titles, or Doug TenNapel in general, be sure to check it out!

Last but not least, an exciting new gameplay walkthrough video of Lost Planet 3 was released today, head on over to our friends at Game Insider for more info.

That's all the news we have for today, but be sure to check back tomorrow for even more gaming greatness.

Until next time, Keep on Gaming!
