Borderlands 2 Midnight Release, and Future Midnight Launches

We had around one hundred and fifty people attend the midnight launch at the GameStop in Jordan Landing last night. It was a pretty exciting night to say the least. Noodles and Company stayed open late so that people could eat some food while they waited, but also so people could show Noodles and Company their receipt from prepaying the game off and receive a free desert! So, Thank you Noodles and Company. We look forward to you staying open late again for the bigger releases in November. Through the night Gaming Cuisine provided a TV set up with a copy of the first Borderlands for two players to enjoy if they so desired. GameStop had two stations for gaming as well. One for Halo: Reach, and the other for the most recent Mortal Kombat. People were sure to not get bored with all we had set up for them. On top of that there was an epic raffle with a boatload of prizes.

As promised, Gaming Cuisine and The Gamerz Funk gave away a free strategy guide for Borderlands 2 which came with an incredible fifteen month calendar. I hope you're enjoying it, Chris!

The next midnight launch we will be hosting with the GameStop in Jordan Landing will be for Assassin's Creed III. We are in the beginning stages of designing a custom shirt related to that launch, and will only make a limited number of them to give away for free. Yes. You heard me right. FREE. 

After that will be the Halo 4 midnight launch where we will be hosting a tournament while we await the clock to strike midnight. We are also working on a pretty epic prize for this event, so be sure you don't miss it. 

Next in line is Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Last year's COD release brought a 42 person tournament, and the winner received a free copy of MW3, a huge COD banner, and a MW3 t-shirt. We already know for a fact that there are a couple hundred more reservations for BO:II, so we expect a HUGE turnout for this years midnight launch, and the tournament we will be hosting.

There are several games coming out this fall/holiday so be sure to check back on our site constantly for updates on what we'll be doing for each of those, and also make sure you reserve all of your games at the Jordan Landing GameStop so you won't miss out on any of the action.
